Excited to becoming a mom. I am concentrating in the moment of doing things that I enjoy and loving every moment of this special time. Beside reading books about pregnancy and doing prenatal yoga, cooking healthy meals, sleeping good and staying out of smokey places as much as possible, I fill my day with little pleasures like waking up with Jazz music, taking bubble bath with my favourite Fango mud mask, paintings my nails(of course in well ventilated room;), trying out new recipes, having a starbucks hot chocolate or an alcohol-free beer with my gfs. For my personal growth, I also got a few projects going on.
Current hobbies/ projects:
- “Painting 100“-An ambitious painting project – my goal is to make one hundred paintings, for the sheer joy of moving paint around and the fizzy feeling you get when someone like your work.
- Blogging-since I met Janet, a chinese expat also living in Basel, she introduced me to the world of blogging and I am seriously addicted. My christmas present for my Swiss family is a family blog, where they could all post pictures and videos.
- Sushi Session- I offer To-the-Door Sushi lesson, the idea came when I saw people love cooking here and the growing interest in Sushi, I also setup a blog documenting the progress: http://sushisession.blogspot.com
- Photography-Being in front of the camera professional since I was 16, my love for photography has grown more since I am married to a photographer. Capturing a moment in eternity, creating a beautiful compose image by a click, it has long been my fasination. My dream is to be a portrait photographer one day. I like to utilize the skills and experiences I picked up from modelling(composition, color, styling, makeup, body language, postures, expressions) to help people to capture great images/memories.
- Yoga-started last year with a DVD from my mother in law. It is the best training ever. My goal is to practice yoga every morning. Right now, I am doing prenatal yoga with Shiva Rhea.
My goal this year is to live a well balanced and healthy lifestyle.
